Adrienne Frantz Weighs in on ‘The Young and the Restless” Recent Amber Moore Mention
An Amber Moore mention on Y&R has fans buzzing. Could Adrienne Frantz reprise her role? Sally Spectra and Billy Abbott sparked speculation with a single name drop.
The Young and the Restless fans were intrigued when old favorite Amber Moore got a mention when Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wondered if anyone knew anything more about the old deal between Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) and John Abbott (Jerry Douglas). As soon as her name came up, the words “Amber Moore Mentioned?” appeared on social media. It turns out, fans weren’t the only ones who expressed their fascination.
Could Adrienne Frantz Return to Y&R?
Adrienne Frantz, who began playing Ambrosia Moore on The Bold and the Beautiful in 1997 and brought the character to Y&R in 2006, per IMDb, took to Instagram after Billy and Sally’s scene aired with a brief message.
“Did somebody just say Amber Moore? My friend saw this yesterday on @youngandrestlesscbs. Very interesting,” she wrote, alongside a quick video of Sally saying Amber’s name.
Frantz’ post had fans as fascinated as Sally’s line, with many chomping at the bit to have the character back on the canvas.
“Yes please. Amber and Daniel together again would make my year! I would watch that!” one fan wrote, while another chimed in with, “Please, please tell me that you are coming back! There is only ONE Amber Moore!!”
Frantz made her soap opera debut on NBC’s now-defunct Aaron Spelling daytime soap Sunset Beach in 1997. Later that year, she debuted as Amber, an up-and-coming singer whose career was sidetracked after becoming a nanny for Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) daughter, Mary. She then worked as a teenage Rick Forrester’s (Jacob Young) babysitter, but Amber was close to Rick’s age, and the two ended up falling for one another.
By the time Amber moved to Genoa City and B&B’s sister soap, she was an author who wrote Katherine’s biography. Now that it turns out Katherine’s company really belongs to the Abbotts following a little-known, years-old deal, Sally wants to know more about Katherine’s thought process when the deal was made. Perhaps Amber can offer some insight and perhaps we will see Frantz’ character again one day soon.
