Anna Paquin Gushes She’s ‘Very Comfortable’ Working With Husband Stephen Moyer on ‘Flack’ (Exclusive)

Who knew that True Blood would bring true love? For Anna Paquin, 36, and Stephen Moyer, 49, their hit 2008 to 2014 vampire show led to an eight-year (so far) marriage, 6-year-old twins, Charlie and Poppy, and more joint projects.

“We’re very, very, very comfortable and happy working together,” Anna exclusively told Closer Weekly at the recent TCA Winter Press Tour in Pasadena, California. “It’s our happy place. It’s how we met, it’s how we fell in love.” And it’s how they’re melding minds as executive producers of the new series Flack, that debuted Thursday, February 21 on Pop TV, starring Anna as a crisis PR strategist.

“I don’t need very much sleep, so you actually can executive produce and star in a TV show but put in enough time with your children that they don’t despise you,” she quipped. Though they have two famous parents, Anna said she tries to keep her kids away from the spotlight as much as possible.

“You won’t find any pictures of my children.” she previously said on Today. “That’s a choice we made very specifically … I want the right to say that they’re not fair game.” Since Anna and Stephen know how it feels to be in the public eye, they want their kids to decide if they want to be famous or not.

“Everyone chooses what works for their family. There are aspects of one’s private life that are fun and cute and not too revealing. And then there’s stuff where you’re making decisions for people who don’t have a say yet about whether they want to be in the public eye,” she explained. “I’ve always been very private. I’m not as neurotic about it as I was when I was younger. I don’t want people to know too much about my real, inner private life. That’s part of having been a teenager and feeling constantly, brutally self-conscious and not wanting anyone to stare at me but having a job where that was part of it.”
