We’ll forever be searching for a love like this! Barack Obama and Michelle Obama proved they have the most desirable relationship on the planet after posting sweet social media messages to one another to celebrate Michelle’s 54th birthday on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
The former President of the US shared a cute photo of himself and Michelle with the caption, “You’re not only my wife and the mother of my children, you’re my best friend. I love your strength, your grace, and your determination. And I love you more each day. Happy Birthday, @MichelleObama.” How adorable is that?! The two previously married in October 1992 and are parents to two daughters, Malia, 19, and Sasha, 16.

And don’t worry, Michelle made a point to thank her hubby for the kind words, beautiful card, and flowers right away! “Thank you @BarackObama for the beautiful flowers waiting for me in the office this morning. You’re my best friend, biggest fan, and getting notes and flowers from you will never get old,” she wrote. The envelope was addressed to “Miche” and signed, “Happy Birthday, B.” We can’t take the cuteness!
Michelle also took that moment to thank all her fans for their well wishes. “And to the many people from around the country who sent cards and posted on social media, you have no idea how much we love hearing from you,” she added. “I know birthdays can sometimes be bittersweet (54!), but your messages of hope, generosity, and warmth have always reminded me how lucky and blessed we are.”

This isn’t the first time the couple has been lovey-dovey on social media. For their 25th wedding anniversary in October, Michelle couldn’t help but gush over her man. “Happy 25th Anniversary, @BarackObama. A quarter of a century later, you’re still my best friend and the most extraordinary man I know. I love you,” the mother-of-two penned. They’re our favorite couple ever!
