Barbra Streisand Celebrates 30 Years With Husband James Brolin: ‘Where Has the Time Gone?’
Barbra Streisand and husband James Brolin are celebrating three decades of love.
“Honey… 30 years together and 28 years married!? Where has the time gone?” Streisand, 84, shared via Instagram on Wednesday, July 1. “Happy Anniversary. Love, Barbra Joan Brolin.”
The couple — who met on a blind date in 1996 — were flooded with love from their famous friends.
“Wow! Where has the time gone indeed! I remember when you first started dating… Happy anniversary to a beautiful enduring love! ❤️,” Linda Thompson commented.
“Love to you crazy kids. ❤️❤️,” Back to the Future Part III star Mary Steenburgen wrote.
“I emended [sic] when you were first dating!!! Time has flown. Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs Brolin,” Rita Wilson added.
Rosie O’Donnell, Very Wang and Octavia Spencer also sent their congratulations.
Streisand and Brolin tied the knot on July 1, 1998, two years after meeting.
“It was unusual for me to get this close to someone so quickly. But Jim wasn’t intimidated by me,” she shared of their first meeting in 1996 in her 2023 memoir, My Name Is Barbra. “In fact, he was very supportive and said, I want to empower you.”
