Acting Legend Al Pacino Is the Dad of Twins With Beverly D’Angelo! Meet Anton and Olivia

Beverly D’Angelo and Al Pacino were romantically linked for quite some time, and during their iconic relationship, they became the proud parents of their two kids. The National Lampoon’s Vacation actress and the Godfather star share their twins, Anton and Olivia.

The famous exes started dating in 1997. Though Beverly and Al had no plans to walk down the aisle, they didn’t need a marriage certificate to know they wanted to have children together.

“I had a fantasy that when you have kids, you do it in a family setting,” the Vegas Vacation star exclusively revealed to Closer I’m 2017. “After we’d known each other for three months, [Al] looked me in the eyes and said, ‘I want you to be the mother of my children.’ That’s all I had to hear.”

Sadly, the famous duo’s romance didn’t last. “I got pregnant at 48, delivered six weeks after I was 49, and by 51, I was looking at a landscape as a single parent,” Beverly explained. While the former pair experienced their ups and downs during a custody battle, they eventually put their differences aside to coparent as successfully as possible.

“The key thing is creating a new history, and moving on from whatever dissolved that relationship to the new one of coparenting,” Beverly shared with Closer. “The most important thing I’ve learned is how vital acceptance is. We all have a desire to change things that we don’t like, but you can’t change another person. You have to accept differences and all the things that led to a breakup in a way that allows you to move forward. And out of my support system and people I know and love, I’ve created the ideal partner.”

In addition to Anton and Olivia, Al is also the dad of his eldest daughter, film producer Julie Marie, whom he welcomed alongside ex Jan Tarrant in 1989. While the acting legend doesn’t open up a ton about his family or personal life, he did once reveal why he embraces the mistakes he’s made as a father.

“I’ll tell you why — out of mistakes, and I’ve made plenty, I’ve learned,” Al explained to Closer in 2015. “Mistakes aren’t quite mistakes, unless you slip off a roof. Then you can’t come back.”

In November 2022, Anton and Olivia made a rare red carpet appearance with their mom at the premiere of her film Violent Night.

“We had the best time. Really, I haven’t done a studio picture for a very, very long time. I was a very devoted mom. It was just great,” the holiday film maven told TooFab after the event. “Of course, they’ve been to the Oscars and various premieres with their father, but this was the first time it was mom’s turn and we just had a fantastic time together. It was so great.”

In May 2023, Al’s rep confirmed to multiple outlets that he was expecting his fourth child and first with his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah. On June 15, 2023, a rep for the actor confirmed to Closer that the pair welcomed a son named Roman Pacino.
