Keeping a marriage going in Hollywood is tough, but stars like Dolly Parton, Michael J. Fox and Emily Blunt have managed to keep their relationships strong throughout all the ups and downs. Though it’s not easy, these celebs have each found the secret to maintaining their marriage with their longtime partners.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are one of the few showbiz couples who continue to persevere through the trials and tribulations of life in the spotlight. The country crooner and the Big Little Lies star married in 2006, and since welcoming their two daughters, Sunday and Faith, Nicole and Keith had no trouble prioritizing their family.

We just love being together, more than anything,” the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” artist gushed about his wife during an interview with Hit 104.1 2Day FM in 2016. “We’re best friends and we love doing everything together — we’re the priority. Everything else comes after that.”

Like Nicole and Keith, John Travolta knew exactly what it took to uphold his marriage with his late wife, Kelly Preston. Though the Jerry Maguire actress died in July 2020 following a two-year private battle with breast cancer, John and Kelly established one of the most genuine love stories in all of Hollywood. Three years before her death, the duo revealed the key to their unbreakable bond.

“Keep checking in and keep growing and changing,” Kelly exclusively told Closer Weekly in November 2017. “Keep doing things, just the two of you.”

John added, “We really care deeply about each other and we protect each other, and we keep [our relationship] up to date … If you take a little bit of energy to take inventory of ‘What are you interested in lately?’ then you can keep it fresh.”

The beloved Twins star is no longer around, but John is keeping her memory — and their everlasting love — alive through their children, Ella and Ben. “[John] sees Kelly in Ella — the strength and unconditional love … she has all of Kelly’s good qualities,” an insider told Closer in July 2020.

Finding true love in Hollywood is all about making sacrifices, commitments and comprises. Fortunately, other celebs like Jay Leno, Jerry O’Connell and Sarah Michelle Gellar, among others, have proven that long and happy marriages do exist in the industry.
