For Chrissy Teigen and John Legend‘s family, a unique living arrangement is what works best for them! While attending the Vita Coco Coconutmilk Brunch in LA on Wednesday, Jan. 24, Chrissy opened up to Us Weekly about her unusual home situation. “So my mom lives with us. Everybody is like, ‘Where’s your dad?’” she said. “He comes by every day and they’re married. It just works for them. It’s a good family life. We’re all very close, very tight–knit.”
Chrissy’s mom, Vilailuck Teigen, often appears in her daughter’s social media posts, so it now makes total sense why! Luckily, Vilailuck’s husband Ron resides only 10 minutes away from Chrissy and John’s home and visits regularly. It’s so nice that the grandparents can play such an active role in Chrissy and John’s 21-month-old daughter Luna‘s life.

Chrissy is probably going to need some extra hands around the house once baby No. 2 arrives, too! The model announced in November on Instagram that she and John are expecting their second child together, and we’re so ready to see Luna be a big sister.
The Cravings cookbook author is experiencing some serious cravings herself during her second pregnancy, and revealed the two things she wants, but can’t have. “I want a cold, Subway deli sandwich at all times,” she said to Us Weekly. “I would love a good margarita, like, a cold margarita.” Luckily for her, John has been taking care of the home cooking!
“I’m kind of tired and pregnant… and he really takes over,” she gushed. “The only thing I don’t like about him cooking is that it takes me away from him for a long time because he’s very slow in the kitchen. Like, painfully slow. And sometimes I can hear him from the living room chopping slowly… but it’s so cute because he loves to do it.” Husband goals!
