Chrissy Teigen Is Planning on Throwing Daughter Luna a Surprise Disney Party for Her 3rd Birthday

Don’t mess with Chrissy Teigen! The mom-of-two goes all out for her kids and for her daughter Luna Stephens‘ upcoming 3rd birthday on Sunday, April 14, she plans to make all of Luna’s Disney dreams come true by throwing her an epic party.

“She’s so into princesses right now,” Chrissy, 33, recently revealed to Us Weekly about her daughter’s birthday bash. “She’s very into Disney movies. I think we might do that, but she’s not gonna know until we’re there. I think we’re just gonna keep it small, keep it family and make her Disney dreams come true. But it won’t even be on the day.”

Luna will be in for the surprise of a lifetime when she sees her closest family and friends sing her “Happy Birthday” at a Disney-themed party. “We’re gonna do a small thing at the house,” Chrissy gushed, admitting that Luna’s party will be everything that she’s ever dreamed of because it won’t be too overwhelming for her tiny tot.

“I think we’ve been to enough kid’s birthday parties here in [Los Angeles] to know that, ‘OK, we can’t do this.’ Because even the kid is freaking out. They don’t seem to ever have a good time. All the other kids have a great time, but the kid is usually totally overwhelmed, and a lot of the times it’s for the parents, honestly,” she said.

Chrissy probably won’t shower her daughter with tons of lavish gifts either. Luna’s dad and Chrissy’s husband, John Legend, previously told Heat magazine that he’s still getting used to raising his kids with “privilege.”

“I can’t even imagine what it’s like to be a kid like my kids, because I grew up in a house where it was very different,” the 40-year-old singer admitted. “It’s weird raising kids that are having very much the opposite experience, where they’re surrounded by privilege and wealth, and don’t want for anything.”
