Oh no! Looks like Christie Brinkley is going to need a little bit more time to fix her broken wrist. After sustaining the injury rehearsal for Dancing With the Stars season 28, the 65-year-old beauty says she’ll now need to get surgery for it to improve.

“I’m actually going on Friday. I’m going to get PRP and some sort of manipulation to my shoulder, my wrist and my thumb because it’s still healing — but not fast enough,” Christie recently revealed to People.

Even though the supermodel has to undergo surgery, she assured her fans that she’ll be OK because she’s had PRP before. “When I was doing Chicago The Musical, I had to do a little PRP on my hip and it worked,” she gushed. “It’s really good stuff.”

After breaking her wrist on DWTS, Christie asked her 21-year-old daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, to take take her place in the competition. “It’s been really the most beautiful silver lining that I could’ve imagined,” the mom of three previously gushed to Closer Weekly about how everything turned out. “Obviously I was so crushed, so disappointed not be able to compete myself.”

Although Sailor and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, lost to The Bachelorette‘s Hannah Brown, Christie was still proud of her daughter for stepping up to the plate.

“Dear Sailor and Val, thank you for your work that brought us beauty and joy! May you both always have a song in your heart that keeps you dancing with wild abandon through a grateful life of exhilarating joy!” she wrote via Instagram shortly after Sailor was booted off the show in October. “You don’t need to be on a TV show to keep smiling and dancing … and that’s the ultimate prize!”

Sailor also took to Instagram to talk about her elimination. “Last night was heartbreaking. I was so not ready for this experience to finish so soon, but wow am I grateful for every minute of it,” she said. “All my life I let my fears hold me back from anything I wasn’t comfortable with. This experience made me feel unstoppable. Each day on this rollercoaster ride was a massive learning lesson, a journey in 24 hours.”
