In a joint Instagram post published on Crawford’s official page, the family shared a touching tribute: “Presley Walker Gerber, July 2, 1999-Septembner 20, 2026. We are beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother. We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years. He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever.”
The post continued, “We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain. Til we meet again our sweet boy. We love you forever, Mom, Dad, and Kaia.”
Along with the heartfelt words, the family’s post included a black-and-white photo of Gerber with angel wings.
Gerber died on September 20 at a rehab facility in California of a suspected overdose. Per People, the Santa Monica police dispatched emergency personnel in response to a call for a cardiac arrest. A second call was dispatched for an overdose, according to reports.
