Iconic music mogul Clive Davis has died at the age of 94, and he leaves behind four children.
After his death, Davis’ family shared a statement via his Instagram page. They wrote, “To the world, our father was the iconic music legend whose vision, instincts, and relentless pursuit of excellence shaped the soundtrack of countless lives.”
The family’s statement continued, “To his family, Clive was Dad and Granddaddy, the steady presence at the center of our lives.”
They added he was “The source of wisdom, strength, encouragement, and unconditional love…he never lost sight of what mattered most: the people he loved.”
Davis was not married at the time of his death, but he had been married and divorced twice. He was married to Helen Cohen from 1956 to 1965, and then to Janet Adelberg from 1965 to 1985.
He had children with each of his wives, three sons, and one daughter. His oldest son, Fred, was born in 1960, and his daughter, Lauren, was born in 1962. Davis’ son Mitchell arrived in 1970, and his youngest son, Douglas, was born in 1972.

Variety noted that Fred is an investment banker who is a partner with the Raine Group. He also spent years as a music executive, much like his father.
Lauren is an attorney who works in the entertainment field. In addition, she is an associate chair of the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University.
Mitchel is an entertainment executive and concert promoter.
According to Soap Central, Doug is a lawyer and producer, and he founded the entertainment law practice The Davis Firm in New York. Doug also won a Grammy award as a producer.
In addition to his four kids, Davis also had eight grandchildren: Austin, Charlie, Matthew, Hayley, Harper, Sloane, Billie, and Cody. According to Billboard, Davis also had two great-grandchildren.
