Conscious Coupling: Exes Gwyneth Paltrow And Chris Martin Reportedly Spend Thanksgiving With New Lovers

It looks like the holidays really do bring everyone together — at least for Gwyneth Paltrow and her ex-husband, Chris Martin! The famous former couple reportedly spent Thanksgiving with each other and their new significant others, Chris’ girlfriend, Dakota Johnson, and Gwyn’s husband, Brad Falchuk. “They’re a total modern family and had a great time celebrating together,” an insider told People.

The pairs allegedly got together to celebrate the joyous day with Gwyneth and Chris’ two kids, Apple Martin, 14, and Moses Martin, 12. Spending the holiday with her new beau also marks a big relationship moment for Dakota, 29, as this is reportedly the first Thanksgiving that she’s spent with Chris, 41, and his family.

“Gwyneth thinks [Dakota] is lovely. She gets on very well with her and is happy for Chris,” a source recently told E! News. “They’ve spent a good amount of time together and have a very nice friendship.”

This is good news but not that surprising considering Chris was reportedly not against welcoming Brad, 47, into the family either when Gwyneth, 46, started bringing him around. In fact, last Thanksgiving, Gywn shared a photo of Chris and Brad smiling at what appeared to be a dining table. “Sunday brunch #modernfamily,” Gywn captioned the cute photo.

Dakota and the Coldplay singer have supposedly been dating for over a year now, while Gwyn and Brad just married this past September after dating since 2015. It appears that Brad transitioned into the Paltrow-Martin family quite well and Dakota is most likely hoping for the same!

Thankfully, Gwyneth and Chris’ kids, Apple and Moses, reportedly really enjoy Dakota’s company, too! “The kids really like Dakota and enjoy spending time with her,” the insider dished to E! News.

Since Gwyneth and Chris announced they were “consciously uncoupling” back in 2014 — after being married for 10 years — the couple has remained constant in each other’s lives. “Gwyneth and Chris have the modern family thing down pat and continue to vacation and spend family time together. Especially on holidays, Gwyneth wants nothing more than to be one big happy family and for her kids to be able to celebrate with both of their parents,” the source revealed. “She is very happy she and Chris have been able to make this work so well… It’s very special that they’re all able to come together like this and make it work.”
