‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pro Gleb Savchenko and His Wife Elena Samodanova Gave Their Newborn Baby Girl Such a Unique Name!
It's a girl! Dancing With the Stars pro Gleb Savchenko has a very good reason for skipping out on the DWTS LIVE: Hot Summer Nights tour — he just became a daddy-of-two! The 33-year-old took to social media to announce his daughter's birth and he even revealed the unique name that he and his wife, Elena Samodanova, picked out for their newborn baby girl.

"[Elena and] I are so pleased to welcome our new baby girl Zlata into the world," he wrote on Twitter. Little Zlata was born on Aug. 1 at 10:26 p.m., and she weighed in at 3.6 kilograms, which is the equivalent of 7 pounds, 14 ounces. Her name is a common name in the South Slavic countries and it means "golden."
"Mother and baby are doing great and sister Olivia couldn’t be happier!" Gleb's rep revealed in a statement obtained by Us Weekly. "Gleb was released from the Dancing with the Stars tour so he could join his family for this monumental occasion."

Since he didn't want to let his fans down, Gleb announced that he was leaving the tour in video clip, sharing the exciting reason with his 182 million followers on Instagram. “Hey guys, I just wanted to let you all know that I’ve had the best time on the hot summer nights tour, but I won’t be doing shows anymore this tour because I am going to join Elena in Sydney where our new baby girl is going to be born," he said. "Hope you all understand, and I’ll see you real soon.”
Gleb and Elena, who is a judge on the Russian version of DWTS, tied the knot in 2006 and they were already parents to their six-year-old daughter, Olivia, before welcoming their second child and Gleb said Olivia can't wait to step into her role as big sister. "Olivia is very excited to meet her younger sister," he revealed."
