Dax Shepard Says Hugging His Daughters Is the ‘Highlight’ of His Day — See the Pic!

What a dad! Dax Shepard has made it clear that returning home and getting hugs from his kids is the one aspect of his day that stands out above the rest.

On Friday, April 12, the 44-year-old took to Instagram to share a photo of himself hugging one of his daughters — the actor shares Lincoln, 6, and Delta, 4, with his wife Kristen Bell. “This is the highlight of all my days,” Dax captioned the picture. Take a look at the beautiful post below!

People were loving the picture, as they took it to the comments section to share some kind words. “Single handedly the best part of life is your amazing family. Love them and never stop!” one person said, while another added, “How adorable! Absolutely melts my heart. I love it when I come home and my girls scream with delight and pile on top of me.”

One fan even told Dax that even more love will come once his kids have their own children. “Wait until you are able to hug your first grandchild! Believe it or not it gets even better!” they said.

The Parenthood alum and Kristen, 38, have been married since 2013, and are extremely private with their kids, keeping them away from the limelight as best as they can. The pair did once share a story that involved telling their oldest about the “birds and the bees.”

“Yeah, she said, ‘But where do babies come from?’ And we were both like — real talk, sit down,” the actress recalled while on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on February 25. The two then revealed that they explained it to their child with a lot of details. “Right to the good part,” Kristen said, and added, “and she’s like, ‘I gotta go outside,’ and just left.”

“Yeah, she bailed. She knows all the organs, but when it got to the actual nuts and bolts of the operation,” Dax said while Kristen quipped, “We bored her.”

Regardless of the case, these parents should probably expect a lot more hugs from their kids!
