Daytime Emmy Winner and Primetime Icon Announce Pregnancy with Hilarious Ultrasound

Tom Pelphrey and Kaley Cuoco announce they are expecting a baby girl, sharing ultrasound photos and heartfelt messages on Instagram about their growing family.

Daytime Emmy winner Tom Pelphrey took to social media to share some exciting life developments with his partner, Kaley Cuoco.

The former Guiding Light star took to Instagram to announce the pregnancy of his upcoming baby girl. He started the post thanking and praising his wife for everything, writing, “Deep gratitude and joy- so much respect and admiration for @kaleycuoco on this journey of ups and downs. 🙌🙌🙌.”

The TASK star then referenced the ultrasound photo he shared, in which the baby appears to be giving the middle finger. “(Doc gave her a little prod for the pic, and this was her immediate response…. definitely my child 🤣),” he joked

Meanwhile, the former The Big Bang Theory star wrote, “💖 completing our little family , what a dream come true ! 💖 This second-time-around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow, we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!! @tommypelphrey girl dad for life 🎀 and yes, the last pic is our dainty princess giving us the middle finger!🤦🏼‍♀️😆.”

Since leaving Guiding Light with his final appearance taking place during the series finale in 2009, Pelphrey has had a large body of work, ranging from a brief appearance on As the World Turns to a successful run on Banshee, Marvel’s Iron Fist, the Netflix series Ozark, and Outer Range, amongst many others.

Cuoco began her professional acting career in 1992 on Quicksand: No Escape. She has since built a large body of work. Her first long-running role occurred in 2002, when she took on the role of Bridget Hennessy on the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules. She would then go on to find large success in the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, where she portrayed Penny from 2007 until its cancellation in 2019.

Since leaving The Big Bang Theory, Cuoco has remained busy, appearing in The Flight Attendant, Based on a True Story, and Vanished, as well as a large body of voice-over work, including playing the title character, Harley Quinn, in the HBO Max series.
