It seems Dr. Oz is a super grandpa! He might be one of the most popular (and busiest!) TV personalities, but in his free time, he babysits his daughter Daphne Oz‘s kids, which is by far one the cutest things we’ve ever heard!
“I don’t pay well, but he’s always on deck,” Daphne, 31, dished to Closer Weekly in a new exclusive interview. “He’s so excited about adding one more to his brood of grandchildren.” Daphne — who is pregnant with baby No. 3! — can’t wait to see how her dad is with her third child come her due date this December. Since he’s already so great with Philo, 3, and Jovan, 1, she knows it will be a smooth transition. “The kids are obsessed with my parents! They just have the best time together,” she previously shared.

In a previous interview with Closer, Dr. Oz shared he can’t resist giving the little ones some sweet treats from time to time! “Yesterday we were coming home late, and I gave them chocolates. I thought, eh, it’s caffeine. It’ll wear off,” the 57-year-old admitted. “They are unique because they bring youth to our lives,” he added of Philo and Jovan.
And when Daphne isn’t leaving her children with her dad, she’s spending her time learning from him. “Every time I’m with him I feel like I’m learning constantly. That’s his life. He is an endlessly curious person. He never feels like he’s done learning, therefore he always has really cool stuff to share,” she told Closer.
But, that doesn’t mean the two will ever do a talk show together. “I feel like viewers on The Chew see that I’m not really his spitting image,” she added of the talk show she recently left. “I don’t know that we’ll ever have a show together.” We can’t wait for pics of Dr. Oz with his new grandchild in just a few months!
