Thirty-five years after Thelma & Louise made her a Hollywood icon, Geena Davis is stepping back into the spotlight with a new Netflix show. Fans can’t stop talking about how incredible she looks at 70.

The beloved Hollywood star looked radiant as she walked the red carpet at the premiere of The Boroughs. She was all smiles as she joined her co-stars for the debut of the new series.

Davis turned heads in a black beaded mini dress with a plunging neckline as she smiled for photographers at the premiere.

Fans took to social media to gush over how incredible Davis looked at The Boroughs premiere.

“70 and still serving red carpet energy like that is impressive,” one fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Another fan tweeted, “Aged to perfection. Doesn’t look like she’s had any work done, either.”

“Perfect example of someone who’s in a league of their own,” someone else added.

An additional tweet read, “I refuse to accept that Geena Davis is 70.”

At 70, Davis is returning to screens in a role that refuses to sideline older women.

Davis stars in the new Netflix series that centers on residents of a retirement community who discover “their ‘golden years’ are more dangerous, and they are more formidable, than anyone expects.”

In The Boroughs, Davis plays Renee, who is described as “a cynical, rock ‘n’ roll former music manager who refuses to be sidelined by age.” She teases that her character has “a very colorful past, a very exotic and interesting past.” The eight-episode series debuts on Netflix on May 21.

More than three decades after Thelma & Louise, Davis is showing fans she is still every bit the glamorous star they remember. For longtime fans who grew up watching her, seeing her confidently return to the spotlight at 70 feels both inspiring and nostalgic.
