Frances Fisher Gushes About Becoming a First-Time Grandma: ‘I Babysit as Much as I Can!’ (Exclusive)

Actress Frances Fisher is a new grandma and is loving every minute she gets to spend with her baby grandson, Titan! “Oh my God, I love it. Having so much fun. Yeah, having so much fun. I babysit as much as I can,” the 66-year-old star exclusively told Closer Weekly at AARP’s Movies for Grownups Awards in Beverly Hills on Monday, February 5.

Frances’ only child, daughter Francesca Eastwood, welcomed baby Titan Wraith Eastwood with her boyfriend, Alexander Wraith, in September 2018. While chatting with Closer, the Titanic star gushed that Francesca, 25, is a “fabulous” mother to her 5-month-old son. “She is fabulous. She is so in love with this little baby. It’s so wonderful to see that aspect of her personality come out,” Frances shared.

“I’m just hoping that she realizes how much time and energy I put into her because she’s doing that to him now,” Frances joked, adding that she now hears the phrase “I get it,” from her daughter all the time. “I hear that at least once a week. I just go, ‘Oh, thank God. She gets it!'” the actress said.

When it comes to spoiling her grandson, Titan, Frances assured that she’s not buying him too much — just lots of cute clothes! “You can’t spoil a baby. You pick them up when they cry. The Ferber method is bullsh–t and you take care of that baby and let that baby learn to trust. When they make a noise, you hold them because they are communicating. So spoiling, I don’t even know what that means,” she said. When then asked if she’s gone crazy buying baby clothes, Frances exclaimed, “Oh yeah! I go to all the sales! Getting things now into the 2-year-old sizes now. I’m stocking up.”
