‘General Hospital’s’ Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson Set to Make Holiday Movie Magic Together
Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson star in a new holiday whodunit film from Zero Gravity Management, following two unlikely partners solving a mystery in a small Christmas town.
General Hospital stars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson are ready to team up for yet another collaboration. Aside from playing buddies Jason Morgan and Damian Spinelli on GH for the last 20 years, the actors take a comedy show on tour at clubs around the country and host a podcast called That’s Awesome. Now, they are branching out again for something completely new.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Burton and Anderson have teamed up to create and star in a new holiday flick from Zero Gravity Management, the same production company that produced the Netflix series Ozark. The actors are collaborating with writer Stacy Asencio-Sutphe on the film, whose storyline details have not been made public just yet.
“We have the best fans in the world, and the constant question we ask ourselves is, ‘What more can we do to entertain them?'” Anderson said. “When we came up with this idea for a series of holiday films, we knew we had something special.”
Described as a “holiday whodunit,” the movie is said to be a light-hearted story that “follows two unlikely partners as they stumble into a mystery in a charming small town at Christmas.”
Anderson joined the cast of GH in 2006 as computer genius Damian Spinelli, whose skills became helpful to mob enforcer Jason Morgan, played by Burton since 1991. Jason and Spinelli’s friendship and various capers have spanned 20 years, as as Burton and Anderson’s. According to Digest, casting is underway for the two actresses who will play Burton and Anderson’s Christmas movie love interests.
