To the average person, Gwyneth Paltrow is one of the most well-known actresses in Hollywood. But according to her kids, 14-year-old Apple and 12-year-old Moses, she’s super humiliating.

While visiting Rachael Ray on Friday, Jan. 11’s episode of The Rachael Ray Show, the 46-year-old actress revealed what her two children really think about her. “I am mortifying. Like, I am the most embarrassing person all of a sudden,” Gwyn dished to the host. “It’s been, like, a couple good years that I’ve been the most embarrassing person.”

Apparently, it’s her public antics that Apple and Moses think are cringeworthy. “If I do anything silly in public, the color drains from her face,” the Iron Man actress explained of her daughter. “Any silly jokes, or if I dance, like in a store, God forbid. She’s like, ‘Mom!’ and I’m like, ‘OK, sorry, got it.'”

Gwyn also talked about Apple being totally embarrassed by her during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The mom-of-two — who shares her kids with her ex-husband, Chris Martin,41 — recalled a mother-daughter shopping date that she and Apple recently went on. “There was some really great song playing,” Gwyn, who is now married to Brad Falchuk, said. “And she just looked at me, and she was like, ‘Don’t even think about it.’ And I was like, ‘Oooh, Apple,’ and she’s like, ‘Do not, Mom.'”

We’re guessing teenager Apple wouldn’t have been too thrilled about a game that Gwyneth and host Jimmy Fallon, 44, played on that episode of the late-night talk show either. For one of the segments, the two played a singing game called “Slay It, Don’t Spray It,” where each participant had to finish the lyrics of a popular song — and if they didn’t, they got sprayed by a water-shooting microphone.

Gwyn was up first and was given Ariana Grande’s “No Tears Left To Cry” to sing. However, it didn’t take long before she was soaked from the water after she messed up some of the lyrics in the chorus. “Oh my goodness, that was intense. Who’s controlling the water? That was intense!” Jimmy shouted as he laughed hysterically at Gwyn’s reaction.

Even though Apple was probably sinking into her chair (if she watched), we loved watching Gwyn and Jimmy play that silly game on-air!
