Ummm, is there anything Gwyneth Paltrow can’t do? In addition to being a wife, mother-of-two and bona fide movie star, the 46-year-old is also the founder of the uber-popular lifestyle brand Goop. That’s not all, though. As of Monday, February 4, we can add TV host to the list of Gwyn’s growing accomplishments. That’s right, y’all, Goop is getting its own Netflix special.

While details about the project are limited, what we do know is pretty darn exciting! According to a recent report, the currently untitled docuseries will drop this fall and consist of 30-minute episodes. Each episode will be cohosted by Gwyneth and Goop’s chief content officer, Elise Loehnen.

“We were speaking to the platform question, and where our people are. They’re watching Netflix. Some of the more strategic, bigger stories we want to tell require a TV budget. Obviously, there’s no better partner in that,” Elise explained of the pair’s decision to choose Netflix. No shade to Hulu, but The ‘Flix was definitely the place to go … no commercials, no problems, right?

As for what the episodes will be about? Well, you can expect to hear stories about mental and physical health, as well as, sexual health. Sounds pretty worthwhile, if you ask us. “Gwyneth is a highly visual, tactile person. The quality of everything that we produce is very important to her,” Elise continued. “She’s always looking for white space. Whether it’s developing physical products or thinking of content. With this show, I think she’s only really interested in opportunities where we can uniquely be ourselves and do things potentially disruptive.”

Given the enormous success of Goop’s website and subsequent podcast, we have no doubt that this series will follow in suit. To be honest, waiting until the fall is going to be torture. Here’s hoping that at the very least we’ll get to see a trailer in the coming months to tide us over.
