Heather Locklear and boyfriend Lorenzo Lamas stepped out together as a couple at a very personal affair over the weekend — the Montecito, California, wedding of Locklear’s daughter, Ava Sambora, to husband Tyler Farrar.
The ’80s icons, who have been publicly dating since April, apparently made quite an impression at the nuptials. A wedding guest told the Daily Mail in a report published Wednesday, May 20, that Locklear and Lamas “looked strong,” though it is “way too early to tell” whether Locklear might be the next family member walking down the aisle.
However, as In Touch recently reported, Locklear, 64, plans to say yes when Lamas proposes.
Lamas, 68, reportedly fit right in at the celebration, with Locklear’s ex-husband Richie Sambora seemingly unbothered by his former spouse’s new romance. “Richie’s a cool cat and Lorenzo is a cool dude. Richie just wants Heather to be happy,” the guest told the Daily Mail.
The source emphasized that everyone in attendance — including Ava, 28 — fully supports Locklear’s relationship with Lamas because “everybody honors how Heather feels,” as reported by the outlet.
Locklear herself turned heads in a formfitting black dress, with the insider describing her as looking “solid” and “beautiful,” the guest told the Daily Mail. The actress has been sober for more than five years, and the guest credited Richie, 66, with being a steady force in her recovery, noting he “hired the best physicians and medical team to get her the help she needed.”
As for Richie, the Bon Jovi rocker wasn’t flying solo either. He brought Australian guitarist Orianthi, 41, as his date to his daughter‘s nuptials. The guest described the two to the Daily Mail as “inseparable dear friends” and hinted they may be “rekindling” their past romance, according to the article.
Despite the potentially tricky dynamics of exes and new partners sharing a dance floor, the atmosphere remained warm throughout the celebration. “It was a beautiful day, a beautiful wedding. It was all about Ava,” the guest told the outlet.
