After recently suffering a miscarriage, Hilaria Baldwin is not putting a lot of stress on her body. The 35-year-old yoga instructor recently shared a video of herself stretching to Instagram to show how she’s slowly getting back her strength after suffering a tragedy.

“I’m being super gentle with my body right now, considering what it has just been through … but I start getting stiff and uncomfortable due to lack of my typical movement,” she said on Sunday, April 14. “Here are some light stretches I turned to today that have helped me, while sticking with my recovery. They feel good and I think you may like them too. #letsmove2019 … and yes: Carmen likes to peek ?.”

In the video, Hilaria’s 5-year-old daughter, Carmen Baldwin, can adorably be seen looking into the camera and running away when her mom is in the middle of stretching. After Hilaria is done doing a number of poses, she exhales sharply to show her fans that her body is slowly regaining its strength.

“In coping with loss or a difficult time, it is important to be present for your emotions and process, but also keep an eye on perspective and joyful moments,” she said via Instagram on Friday, April 12, about how she’s coping with her miscarriage. “When I get sad, I like to remind myself that sadness passes like a season. I like to look at my blessings, my happiness, and always remembering that I have so many more good times to look forward to. It is a balance of sitting with grief, as we don’t want to shove it away and not address it … but also not let it cloud how wonderful life is.”

Before Hilaria confirmed that she suffered a miscarriage, she told her fans online that she was “most likely experiencing” one. “I think it’s important to show the truth,” she said about being honest. “My job is to help people by being real and open. Furthermore, I have no shame or embarrassment with this experience. I want to be a part of the effort to normalize miscarriage and remove the stigma from it.”

We’re glad you’re feeling better, Hilaria!
