Jamie Foxx Has a Great Relationship With Katie Holmes’ Daughter Suri: ‘He Makes Her Laugh’ (Exclusive)

Even though there have been breakup rumors swirling recently, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes‘ relationship is still holding strong — so strong, in fact, that the actor has gotten quite close with Katie’s daughter Suri Cruise.

“Suri loves Jamie, he makes her laugh and he’s a really good influence on her,” an insider exclusively tells Closer Weekly. “He has daughters so he knows how to talk to girls about what’s going on, he really gets deep with her about school and boys and bullies, which Katie loves.”

To hear that the Ray star, 51, has become close with Suri, 12, is great news. This considering that we learned more than a year ago that while the Oscar-winner’s kids — Corinne, 25, and Annalise, 9 — were bonding with the Dawson’s Creek alum, 40, Jamie hadn’t exactly spent must time with Katie’s daughter.

“Katie is close with Jamie’s girls,” a source once told People. “She spends time with them even when Jamie’s not there and they have dinner dates. Both girls get along really well with Katie. She’s been in Annalise’s life since she was really young so they are especially tight.”

Over the last couple of months, Katie and Jamie have proven how into each other they are, as they have been spotted in public together numerous times. Most notably, the pair had a few lovely dates in New Orleans, even living there while both worked in the Big Easy. “Once they’ve wrapped, Katie and Jamie will go off together for a romantic dinner or take a walk around the French Quarter,” an insider told Life & Style at the time. The source also added that, instead of walking through the city, Jamie and Katie would sometimes “go back to their place and order in.”

We just hope that the two continue to have a strong relationship — and that Suri’s bond with Jamie grows, too.
