Janet Jackson Moves on From Wissam Al Mana Divorce With Ex Jermaine Dupri (REPORT)

That was fast! Janet Jackson recently announced her divorce from husband Wissam Al Mana, but don’t worry, she seems to already be dating again! According to Us Weekly, the music icon is “back together” with her other ex Jermaine Dupri.

“They are 100 percent back together and in love,” a source told the news outlet of Janet, 51, and Jermaine, 45, who dated from 2002 until their unfortunate 2009 split.

The two allegedly reconnected at a party following the last night of the US leg of Janet’s world tour on Sunday, Dec. 17. “They were cuddled up and holding hands,” the insider added of their public affection at the event.

Janet and Jermaine have reportedly not been in touch since breaking up eight years ago, so when she ended her marriage, Jermaine decided to contact her again. “Jermaine reached out,” the source added. “They are getting to know each other all over again.” How sweet!

At the time of their split, however, Janet gushed, “We’re there for one another. I think it will remain that way for the rest of my life.”

Janet and Wissam ended their five-year-long marriage in April, just a few months after they welcomed their first child, Eissa, 11 months, together. Shortly after the announcement, reports surfaced that she felt like a “prisoner” in her own marriage.

“Janet felt like she couldn’t be herself anymore. The restrictions flowed into her career as well. Though she canceled her Unbreakable world tour in April 2016 to focus on her pregnancy. Janet felt like her music was suffering and she resented Wissam,” an insider shared. “She couldn’t settle down and be what he wanted.” The source added, “She put her foot down and said no. Janet wanted to get her life back.” We’re so glad you’re happy now, Janet!
