Jennifer Lopez Flaunts Toned Abs While Preparing to Kick Off Her Upcoming 50th Birthday Tour

Our jaws are on the floor thanks to Jennifer Lopez‘s incredible physique. The World of Dance star took to Instagram on Sunday, May 26, to share a sexy gym selfie that showed off her incredibly toned body and muscular abs — just two weeks before embarking on her It’s My Party tour in honor of her 50th birthday this summer.

“Getting it in right before rehearsals,” the 49-year-old beauty, who will be turning the big 5-0 on July 24, captioned the pic of herself while wearing a white sports bra and pink-speckled yoga pants. “Almost tour time.”

Fans of the Second Act star couldn’t help but flood the comment section with sweet and encouraging messages. “Baddest on the block! Putting these 21-year-olds to shame,” one user said of her envious figure. “It’s like she locked into 30 and stayed there. Her skin is amazing!” gushed another.

Jen – who recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, this past March — also shared short clips of her workout to her Instagram Story. In the videos, the brunette beauty can be seen exercising her back muscles. She also shared a clip with the caption “Gotta work before we party,” referencing her upcoming tour that kicks off in Los Angeles on June 7.

Following the completion of her intense workout, Jen shared some new details about the highly anticipated tour with her fans. “Just arriving at rehearsals. First day of full run through, still two weeks before opening night,” she dished to her 94 million Instagram followers. “Super excited. Also, you know, nervous, scared that we’re gonna get it all done.”

Sounding a little discouraged, Jen reassured her fans that the tour will be like nothing they’ve ever seen before. “Do not worry! We are bringing all of the new things into the show so a lot of moving parts in this show, but I am so ready,” she added.

The “Jenny From The Block” singer first announced her tour while making a guest appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this past February. Jen, who hasn’t toured in over six years, will bounce from city to city all across North America before closing out her 25-stop tour in Miami on July 25 — the day after her 50th birthday.

“My birthday’s in July, and so this summer I decided I wanted to do something big for my birthday because it is a big birthday,” the superstar explained to host Ellen DeGeneres. “It’s just a small amount of shows, but we’ll be out all through June and July.”
