John Travolta and Mariah Carey Make One Unexpected Pair in Selfie — See the Pic!

Well this is a head-scratcher. You probably wouldn’t expect John Travolta and Mariah Carey to join forces for a photo together, but that’s exactly what happened recently, and it made for one fantastic picture.

On Saturday, February 2nd, the 48-year-old singer performed at Treffen, Austria’s Glock Horse Performance Center, and once that wrapped up, the Oscar-nominated actor, 64, sporting his new bald look, decided to pose for a photo with the hitmaker and post it on Instagram. “This year’s Glock party was a blast and so was Mariah’s performance!” the Pulp Fiction star captioned the photo. In the picture, the Grammy winner wears a glittering gold gown, topped with diamond bracelets, while John rocks an all black tuxedo. But once again it’s his new hairdo that is still turning heads, even while next to an iconic singer.

On January 6, the Grease costar took it to the social media platform to share a photo of his baldness while next to his daughter, Ella Blue. “I hope everyone had a great New Year!” he wrote at the time.

John exclusively told Closer Weekly at the G’Day USA Gala in Culver City, California on January 26, that he didn’t really plan out his new look. “[It] feels great. Listen, my new look came on a whim,” he revealed. “It was a New Year’s Eve idea. Because everyone liked it so much, I decided to keep it for a while. So, we’ll see.” As for what his 18-year-old daughter thinks, he added, “She loves it. And she’s a beauty, isn’t she?”

The father-of-three continued and said, “She’s so amazing, and so unlike what you think a teenager, the cliché of a teenager. She’s different, and she’s gracious, and she’s lovely, she’s well-mannered, and she’s thoughtful, and it’s authentic. It’s very old school. She reminds me of an older movie star. Another era. So I’m very proud of her.”

And we’re proud of John for realizing that bald is still very much in.
