Jonathan Scott Calls New Girlfriend Zooey Deschanel ‘My Favorite Person’ on ‘Perfect Date Night’

Young love! Jonathan Scott couldn’t help but dote on his new girlfriend, Zooey Deschanel, while making their Instagram debut as a couple following a date night in Las Vegas. The beloved Property Brothers star took to Instagram and gushed over the New Girl actress in a super sweet post shared to his page on Sunday, November 17.

“Simply a perfect date night. From the @timburton exhibit at @theneonmuseumlasvegas to @jerryseinfeld at @caesarspalace. Such a wonderful time,” the 41-year-old hunk captioned a black-and-white selfie of Zooey, 39, planting a kiss on his cheek.

Jonathan also left a super sweet comment on Zooey’s Instagram post, which displayed the same adorable snapshot of her loving on her man. “You’re my favorite person,” he adorably wrote in the comment section as the New Girl star simply captioned the photo, “Cutie.”

Fans of the newly linked couple — who began dating shortly after Zooey and ex-husband Jacob Pechenik announced they were separating this past September — flooded the comment section with heartwarming messages for the adorable pair.

“Happy sure does look good on y’all!” one user wrote, while another echoed, “Yes!! You guys are officially my favorite!!!” A third fan chimed in, gushing, “Congratulations Jonathan!” The Canadian reality TV star’s twin brother, Drew Scott, even left a little message for his smitten sibling. “Totes adorbs,” Drew, also 41, wrote in Zooey’s comment section. Aww!

Ever since Jonathan began dating the brunette beauty, the handsome TV host has never seemed happier. While chatting with Closer Weekly in a recent interview, Jonathan opened up about the qualities he looks for in a partner.

“Somebody who’s articulate, has a great sense of humor and a fun, optimistic outlook on life,” he exclusively shared with Closer. “Can’t take themselves too seriously.” Although the Las Vegas illusionist was shy when it came to divulging the intimate details of his new relationship, Drew couldn’t help but comment on his brother’s blooming romance.

“They need to realize there’s an approval process,” Drew explained to Closer, noting that he has a “good for Jonathan” checklist. “[Zooey and Jonathan are] both amazing people, and I think it’s great. It’s exciting. It means I get to have Jon out here to spend more time with us in L.A.”

Considering his brother is no longer on the market, Drew said he and his wife, Linda Phan, are having a great time double-dating with Jonathan and Zooey. “We have a lot of the same interests, we have quirky personalities,” the HGTV share gushed.
