Jude Law Is ‘Officially Off the Market’ and Engaged to Girlfriend Phillipa Coan (Exclusive)

Congratulations are in order for Jude Law — he’s engaged! “Jude is officially off the market after he popped the question to Phillipa Coan,” a source close to the couple exclusively told Closer Weekly in a new interview. Jude, 46, and Phillipa, who works as a psychologist, have been dating for about four years.

“Jude fell head over heels for Phillipa because she isn’t just a pretty face. She also has brains and her own successful career as a psychologist,” the insider said. “He finds it refreshing to be with someone who isn’t in the entertainment industry or looking for a meal ticket. Phillipa doesn’t care about fame. She loves Jude for who he is, and is fun and fits in with all his cool London friends.”

The Holiday actor’s upcoming marriage to Phillipa will be his second. Jude was previously hitched to English actress Sadie Frost from 1997 until 2003 and the two share three children, Rafferty Law, 22, Iris Law, 18, and Rudy Law, 16. The star is additionally a father to daughter Sophia Law, 9, with American model Samantha Burke and daughter Ada Law, 3, with Catherine Harding and was also engaged to actress Sienna Miller in the past.

“After a bitter divorce battle with Sadie Frost and an engagement to Sienna Miller that ended in tears back in 2006, Jude became cynical about marriage and made a promise to himself not to make the same mistake twice. But after four years of dating Phillipa, he’s certain that she’s ‘the one,'” the source told Closer.

Now that Jude has found happiness yet again, the insider predicted that he and Phillipa won’t have a long engagement and will tie the knot ASAP! “They’re both very private about their relationship and opt for a low-key lifestyle — going to the local pub, or staying in watching Netflix. It’s very easy and Phillipa isn’t high-maintenance,” the source explained. “It won’t be a long engagement. They know it’s right and don’t see the point in waiting around!”
