Two of the most familiar faces on Dancing With the Stars, judge Julianne Hough and pro Peta Murgatroyd, are both getting married very soon — and so it turns out, their weddings will fall on the same day, Saturday, July 8, a source previously revealed to Life & Style.

“It just so happened that Peta and Maksim Chmerkovskiy chose the same date. You have to be either Team Hough or Team Peta and Maks,” the source noted. “There’s a lot of behind- the-scenes drama.”

Some are faced with a tough decision on which ceremony to attend, while others aren’t. “Some of the cast members have strong feelings about one couple or the other,” the insider added. “So for them, it’s actually not a hard choice which one to go to.”
However, Julianne’s older brother and pro Derek Hough isn’t too woried about the date conflict. “We have different friends [and] different groups,” he explained to Entertainement Tonight in a new interview.

In fact, he can’t wait for the special day. “I’m excited! My baby sister [is] getting married [and] it’s gonna be special to have the whole family there. We’re gonna have a great time!” Derek said. “It’s gonna be like, a week-long event. It’s gonna be amazing.”

And that’s not all! “I think I will be making a little speech,” the 32-year-old confessed. “There’s always surprises with my family that aren’t planned, so there [will be] plenty of surprises.”

Julianne previously revealed that she and her fiancé, Brooks Laich, are planning a very special first dance. “I never thought that we would do [a choreographed dance], but [Brooks] really wants to do a first dance and have it be like a special thing,” she said. “Even before we ever met, as a kid he really wanted to dance. He’s always wanted to dance.”
