Julie Bowen has shared the realities of parenting her three sons and watching them blossom into teenagers right before her eyes. She’s posted some rare family photos on her instagram page over the years, proving she’s a great mom both on and off screen.
The Modern Family alum shares son Oliver and twins John and Gustave with ex-husband Scott Philips. She revealed her best parenting advice.
“With teenagers, my sister told me this and it has been really helpful. ‘Cause I’m like, ‘What am I doing?’ I’m like sitting around, I should be going on dates or something. Should I be having an adult age?” Julie on SiriusXM’s “The Three Questions With Andy Richter” in October 2024. “She goes, ‘At this age, they need you five percent of the time. And the other 95 percent they could give a rat’s ass if you’re around.’”
