Kevin Costner Hopes Bobbi Kristina Brown “Gets a Second Chance” at Life
In the wake of Bobbi Kristina Brown's hospitalization, Kevin Costner said he hopes the young woman is able to recover and have a "second chance" at life.
"I hope that God opens her eyes and lets her breathe and lets her brain work, and she gets a second chance," the 60-year-old actor said in an interview on Friday, Feb. 6.

"The facts are the facts right now, that she's sitting here, fighting for her life, surrounded by the people who love her the most. We understand the pressure they're under. I think nobody wants more than her family, and if she could speak for herself, [for her] to have a second chance at this most precious life that we are all given," he added.
Bobbi Kristina, 21, was placed in a medically induced coma on Saturday, Jan. 31 after she was found unconscious inside her Roswell, Ga. home and remains on life support.

The incident sadly took place just days prior to the three-year anniversary of her mother's death. Whitney — who starred alongside Kevin in the 1992 film 'The Bodyguard' — was similarly found unresponsive in a hotel bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012 and was pronounced dead later that day, with "accidental drowning" cited as her cause of death.
