Maria Menounos is Taking Over Giuliana Rancic’s ‘E! News’ Anchor Gig

Giuliana Rancic is out and Maria Menounos is in!

The 37-year-old TV personality will officially take over the E! News co-anchor position from Giuliana, 40, starting this August, the network announced in a statement on Thursday, July 30.

“As an established entertainment and news journalist with strong Hollywood connections, Maria has proven herself to be a great fit with the E! News team,” E!'s Executive Vice President of News and Digital John Najarian said in the statement.

Maria has previously served as a frequent fill-in anchor on the celebrity news program and is a regular on E! Online's daily roundtable series, Live From E!.

Earlier this month, Giuliana announced her resignation as the show's host and revealed her final broadcast will be on Aug. 10. She will, however, remain a co-host of Fashion Police and will continue to conduct interviews for E!'s Live From the Red Carpet.
