Mayim Bialik Still Earns Pennies for Her ‘Doogie Howser’ Role (Even Though Her Net Worth Is $12 Million!)

Too funny! Though her net worth is now an impressive $12 million, actress Mayim Bialik still receives paychecks for pennies from her past role on Doogie Howser!

The 41-year-old actress took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 19 to show her more than 2.2 million followers a residual check she recently got for a whopping $0.02 from the 1980s comedy. "That's right. GROSS was $0.02. NET to me: $0.01. #Math #YouBetImCashingIt #EveryPennyCounts," Mayim hilariously captioned the snapshot.

"The sad thing is, it cost them more to print and mail it to you," one of The Big Bang Theory star's followers commented on the pic with another adding, "Try not to spend that all in one place!"

Mayim appeared in just one episode of Doogie Howser, M.D. back in 1990 during the show's second season. A few years later the actress landed her breakout TV role as Blossom Russo on Blossom. Today, the mom-of-two portrays Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler on CBS' hit sitcom Big Bang.

The Big Bang Theory cast recently made headlines when lead actors Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, and Simon Helberg each took major pay cuts to give Mayim and Melissa Rauch raises.
