Organizing a wedding is a pretty stressful process for most people, but for Meghan Markle – whose upcoming nuptials will be viewed by millions – it might be a little bit more stressful. What a relief it must be, therefore, that the flower choices are apparently done and dusted!

The florist on the day will allegedly be Philippa Craddock (who has a studio in Fulham and Selfridges in London). She is set to select blooms from the Crown Estate and Windsor Great Park gardens. What are the flowers she's been commissioned to incorporate? A beautiful combination of white garden roses, peonies, and foxgloves, with branches of beech, birch, and hornbeam featuring as well.

The peonies element of the trio should come as no surprise to Meghan fans, for the flowers are a known favorite of the former actress. In her (now deleted) Instagram account, she once posted a picture of a bouquet of peonies which she captioned: "Swooning over these. #London #Peonies #SpoiledRotten.'"

This follows a post in 2016, where, under another picture of the blooms, she had written: "I bought these peonies for myself yesterday because they make me so endlessly happy. Do something sweet for yourself today too. #TreatYourself, #SimplePleasures, #FavoriteFlowers."

Speaking of her Royal commission, florist Philippa said in a statement: "I am excited and honored to have been chosen by Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle to design and create their wedding flowers. Working with them has been an absolute pleasure. The process has been highly collaborative, free-flowing, creative, and fun. The final designs will represent them as a couple, which I always aim to achieve in my work, with local sourcing, seasonality, and sustainability being at the forefront." Meghan and Harry are set to marry on Saturday, May 19 at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, and we, for one, cannot wait.
