Megyn Kelly Is ‘Crazy in Love’ With Her 3 Kids — Meet the Former ‘Today’ Anchor’s Children!

Megyn Kelly is a great mom to her three kids, Edward, Yardley and Thatcher Bates. The former Today star shares her children with husband, Douglas Brunt, and like her Twitter caption reads, she’s “crazy in love” with her kids.

After Megyn and Douglas got married in 2008, the duo welcomed their first child, Edward, a.k.a Yates, in September 2009. He weighed 7 pounds and 10 ounces. “People say Yates is my twin, but I think he’s a mini Doug. He came into this world a sweet old soul and he remains that way to this moment,” the mom of three wrote in her book Settle for More. 

Three years after Yates was born, Megyn welcomed her second child and first daughter, Yardley. “Yardley is amazing,” she gushed in her novel. “A year ago after I went to the Fortune Most Powerful Women’s conference, she said, ‘What is that?’ I said, ‘Well it’s a gathering of really strong women who celebrate their accomplishments.’ I was taking Yardley down there with me and she said, ‘Are we two of them?’ And then not quite a year later, she joined me at the presidential debate in Detroit.”

Thanks to them spending quality time together, Yardley is learning everything she needs to know about being a powerful woman in America. For her 8th birthday in April 2019, Yardley got the best shout-out from her mom. “Happy Birthday to my sweet Yardley, 8 years old today, and just as fun and full of fire as on day one. Love this girl!!” Megyn wrote via Twitter next to a photo of her daughter holding balloons.

Since exiting Today, the journalist has been enjoying family time with her hubby and her three kids at home. She no longer worries about not being there for her kids’ milestones. “I did worry in the beginning, especially when I only had one kid, about whether I was a good mom, whether I was abandoning my duties,” Megyn previously told Glamour. “[Now], I see them thriving; our loving relationship is more than intact. There’s no more of that, ‘Am I going to screw them up?’ I’m not.”
