Michael J. Fox And Tracy Pollan Reveal How They Stay Connected With Their 4 Kids: ‘We Travel A Lot’

Family moments are so important and Michael J. Fox and his wife, Tracy Pollan, never get tired of spending quality time with their kids. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the loving couple explained that they like to take their son, Sam Fox, 29, twin daughters, Aquinnah and Schuyler Fox, both 23, and Esmé Fox, 17, with them when they venture out of town and go on vacation.

“Honestly, we travel a lot. We go out to dinner a lot, they do like the shopping a lot,” Tracy gushed about her fun family vacations. Michael even jokingly added that his kids are like food connoisseurs when they go out to eat. “They like to eat, a lot. None of them are huge but they like to eat. They must burn a lot of calories doing something because they eat copious amounts of food,” he shared.

Michael’s kids must have perfect genes because they are all still as fit as their funny dad, who is 57 years old now. He shares his birthday month with Tracy, 58, and although the Hollywood couple first started dating while filming Family Ties in the ’80s, their kids don’t think that they’re as funny as people make them out to be.

“They don’t think we’re funny at all,” Tracy shockingly revealed. “They roll their eyes and think we tell stupid mom and dad jokes.” Since parents can be embarrassing at times, Michael uses that to his advantage and tells cheesy jokes to his kids. “I tell the same stupid joke over, and over, and over again,” he hilariously said and noted that Tracy is a bit different. “I do tell stupid jokes, but you tell clever jokes.”

Michael and Tracy have been married since 1988 and though they’ve created quite a legacy for themselves in Hollywood, their greatest success will always be their kids. “It was us against the world,” Tracy said in a previous interview with People. “That’s exactly what we’ve created.”
