Monica Bellucci’s Father Insists the ‘Bond’ Girl Has Never Had Plastic Surgery

At 50, Monica Bellucci now officially holds the title of the oldest Bond girl to ever star in the hit franchise.

Today, the Italian actress and former model looks hardly a day older than when she started out in Hollywood in the early 1990s — but her father insists his daughter has never undergone plastic surgery to improve her features.

"Everyone says she has had work done. But here is the proof. Her lips really were that full even at the very beginning. She's completely natural," Pasquale Bellucci told 'Mail Online' in a new interview.

In the interview, Monica's parents revealed the constant attention on her looks made their stunning daughter — who will star alongside Daniel Craig in the new 'James Bond' movie, 'Spectre' — become reclusive during her childhood.

"All the other kids would go and hang around in the piazza after school, as teenagers do. But Monica would hide away, taking a detour through the backstreets and then coming straight home," her father said.

"One day I asked her why she didn't want to be in the square with the others and she said: 'When I go in the piazza everyone looks at me. The men look at me. The women look at me. All the kids from school. I feel ashamed.'"

Since then, Monica's father says she has "blossomed" into a strong and confident woman who has never let her insecurities — or the incessant plastic surgery rumors — get her down.

"That's why she's still at star at 50 years old," he said.
