Nicolas Cage To Be A Grandfather For The First Time
Nicolas Cage is going to be a grandfather for the first time!
His son Weston Cage and his wife Danielle exclusively told Closer Weekly they are expecting their first child.
During the Kasem Cares Foundation's First Annual Fundraiser in Beverly Hills on Saturday night, Weston and Danielle shared the exciting news.
"It is a boy. Big boy, weighs a lot," Danielle said.
"I’m so excited! This wasn’t necessarily planned, but it is completely welcomed. We’re so happy to be giving birth eventually."
When the couple shared the news with Cage, Weston said of his father's reaction, "He was ecstatic. His reaction was one of pure joy and bliss. Family is very important to us."
Even though the 23-year-old actor noted his father was in the room when the ultrasound was being taken, it was too early to tell whether or not Danielle was pregnant at the time.
"My father and I actually speak everyday and Danielle and I texted him the ultrasound photograph which was actually confirmation of what we thought," Weston said.
The couple also revealed they would eventually want three or four little ones.
"We were both only children, so having multiples would be nice," Danielle added.
