Nicole Kidman Wore Kate Middleton’s Favorite Hair Accessory To 2019 Golden Globes — See The Pics!

It seems Nicole Kidman has taken a page out of Kate Middleton‘s book! We already considered the actress royalty, but she just proved herself to be more like the royal family than we thought when she mimicked the Duchess of Cambridge’s favorite hairstyle at the Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 6.

The 51-year-old walked the red carpet with her husband, Keith Urban, looking fabulous in the classic hairdo. The chic style, often worn by Kate, features a black velvet bow tied around a ponytail. In Nic’s case, she tied it around her bun — and looked flawless, just as Kate typically does. See the two looks below!

For the award show, Nicole also donned a stunning, sequin, burgundy gown. Not only did she present on stage at the prestigious event, but she was also nominated in the category Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture for her role of Erin Bell in Destroyer.

“I like getting dressed up. I do,” Nicole gushed to Life & Style about the numerous red carpets she walks every year. “I also like meeting people that I’ve never met before. Because it’s actually astounding how you can meet directors and different people, and how that can actually eventuate, and sometimes you’re collaborating on something else in the future.” Here’s hoping she’ll get a meeting with Kate on the red carpet one day…

Just like Kate, Nicole looked beautiful as ever for the public outing. When she previously turned 50 years old, Nicole opened up about aging.  “Everything becomes more meaningful as you get older,” the star once shared. “[My family] is the thing that gives me more joy and is the basis for everything.” There’s another reason why she’s just like Kate!
