After much speculation, Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr made history tonight by performing together at the 56th annual Grammy Awards as the only two surviving members of The Beatles.

Julia Roberts announced their performance before McCartney appeared on stage behind a colorful piano, a throwback to the Magical Mystery Tour era, while Ringo Starr rocked out on the drums.

They performed "Queenie Eye" from McCartney's latest album "New." The last time they performed together was in 2009.

Earlier, McCartney took home the best rock song Grammy, which he shared with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear, for "Cut Me Some Slack."

Ringo also performed on his own at the awards show, singing his 1973 hit, "Photograph" while black and white images of the band spun in and out of screens at the back of the stage.

And as if that wasn't enough Beatlemania for one night, Yoko Ono and John Lennon's son Sean were seen in the stage rocking out to Ringo and Paul's performance! Amazing.

In case you missed the performance, watch it here.
