AwwHollywood Is Getting Too Adorable! Check Out the Sweetest Quotes Celebrity Parents Have Said About Their Kids

If you’re a parent, chances are you’re completely obsessed with every little thing your kid does — and celebrity parents are no different. Like most people, they absolutely adore their children and can’t help but gush about their kiddos in interviews while promoting their work

When Eva Longoria became a mom at age 43, she told Parents Latina her son Santiago “was meant to be with me at this stage in my life. I’m patient, I don’t work as much — even if it doesn’t seem that way! It’s the right time.”

The actress welcomed her son in June 2018 with her husband, José Bastón, and he’s brought so much joy into his parents’ lives. “I feel there’s more pressure to raise a good man today in this world and to make sure he understands equality and feminism,” the Desperate Housewives alum previously told Parents about what she plans on teaching Santi. “But it’s not about telling him, it’s about showing him in his everyday life.”

Raising a good child is something Will Smith can relate to. It took him a few years to repair his relationship with his oldest son, Trey Smith, after he and the DJ’s mom, Sheree Zampino, got divorced in 1995. “We struggled for years,” Will explained in an Instagram post he shared in November 2018. “He felt betrayed [and] abandoned.”

The Gemini Man star didn’t realize how far they’d come until he took Trey on a solo trip to the “F1.”

“He just hit me with, ‘You know what dad? I just realized you’re not just my dad. I’m pretty sure you’re my best friend,'” Will tearfully recalled in the Instagram clip, and added, “It is a wild blessing to recover [and] restore a loving relationship with my beautiful son!”

Since the duo put their differences aside, Will and Trey have been more involved in each other’s lives. What more can a parent hope for?
