A little bit of bad weather didn’t stop Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from taking a day trip to Bristol, England on Friday, February 1 to visit the Old Vic Theatre! Although the couple was there to meet with members of a few organizations supporting communities in need, they also sweetly stopped to greet a bunch of their royal fans waiting outside in the snow.

“It was very exciting,” royal fan Hayley Jones told People of seeing Harry, 34, and pregnant Meghan, 37, in-person. “I had followed her on The Tig. It was such a beautiful inspirational blog. I thought it was incredible and I wanted to let her know that it really impacted me. She said it was a passion project that she loved.”

Jones — an Australia-native who has been studying literature and politics at Bristol University — added that the Duchess of Sussex is really kind in real life. “She’s such a beautiful soul,” she noted.

At the event, Meghan was also overheard telling the crowd bundled up in the brisk 33-degree weather, “I hope everyone gets a nice cup of tea after this.” So cute!
