It’s sadly over between Tom Arnold and his fourth wife, Ashley Groussman, after nearly 10 years of marriage. The 59-year-old star confirmed the split to Radar Online on Monday, January 21 and subsequently spoke to Us Weekly at the premiere of his latest movie, Dead Ant, to reveal his separation from Ashley was “a long time coming.”

“It’s a long time coming and we have been together for almost 11 years. And very grateful. I have many good years. I have my children because of my wife,” Tom told the magazine, adding that Ashley recently moved out of the former couple’s home.

“She has one life and she gets to live it exactly the way … The same thing with everybody. And I think it’s hard. Sometimes in our society, people put things on. Especially women, they can feel guilty. … And I kept saying, ‘Hey, listen. … You have done everything. We’ve been together. You’ve been amazing. There doesn’t have to be a reason. There doesn’t have to be a bad guy,'” he continued.

Tom and Ashley previously tied the knot over Thanksgiving weekend back in 2009 in front of 75 guests in Maui, Hawaii. The pair later welcomed son Jax Copeland Arnold, 5, in 2013 and daughter Quinn Sophie Arnold, 3, in December 2015.

“For the last couple years, couple three years, it’s been very unusual in the house,” Arnold said. “But my kids and I have a whole life, a wonderful life. I’ve been telling my wife, ‘It’s OK. Just do whatever you gotta do.’ So, she moved out.”

Tom was previously married to Roseanne Barr from 1990 until 1994, to Julie Armstrong from 1995 to 1999 and to Shelby Roos from 2002 until 2008.
