On February 17, Meghan Markle took to Instagram to announce she’s changing the name of her lifestyle brand — originally called American Riviera Orchard — to As Ever. The last-minute switch, reportedly due to trademark issues, “has left everyone involved on edge,” an insider exclusively tells Closer.
“It’s a risky move, especially when her Netflix show is about to drop,” the source says.
For Meghan, 43, launching her eight-episode lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, is a dream come true. “I’ve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening — this is what I do,” she shared on Instagram.
Adds the insider, “This is Meghan’s vision, it’s her baby.” And while her husband, Prince Harry, will be rarely seen on the show, “he’s definitely rooting Meghan from the sidelines.”
