The “Jessie’s Girl” singer, 76, has been turning heads on tour after performing shirtless, showing off a chiseled physique that’s left fans — and at least one very famous podcaster — floored.
Springfield joined Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar on tour, performing June 14 in Noblesville, Indiana. The two rockers have been friends for more than 50 years, according to a report, published Friday, July 10 by The Daily Beast. Footage from the show has fans marveling at how well Springfield has aged.
The clip even caught the attention of Joe Rogan, who gushed about Springfield during a June 30 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with guest Tommy Lee, 63. “This is literally bananas,” Rogan said. “This is Rick Springfield, he’s 76 years old … and he’s singing ‘Jessie’s Girl’ like he just wrote it.”

“First of all, he looks [explicit] incredible, like he’s working out every day or something. I mean, I don’t even understand it,” Rogan continued. “He looks like a 30-year-old guy.”
The Fear Factor alum, 58, added, “A lot of people who are 76 are basically waiting to die. This dude’s on stage with no shirt on, [explicit] crushing life.”
Lee, 42, chimed in with his own praise, telling Rogan, “Amazing. That’s [explicit] inspirational.”

Springfield later shared a clip of the exchange on his Instagram, tagging both Rogan and Lee, with the caption, “Good vibes appreciated! … 🤘🏼.”
Fans are impressed, too. On Saturday, July 11, the rocker shared a video on Instagram of his performance of his song “Kristina” during a tour stop at Vernon Downs in Vernon, New York, prompting loyal admirers to leave similarly stunned comments about his appearance and energy on stage. “My goodness how does he look so fine 😮,” one commenter wrote. Another said simply, “Looking amazing‼️😍,” while a third gushed, “Love love love this song! 😍 you still got it! 🙌.”
