What an amazing day! Rosie O’Donnell went all out for her daughter Dakota’s 7th birthday. Taking to Instagram, the 57-year-old comedian shared two photos of her kid holding a unicorn-shaped balloon and blowing out the candles on her sprinkle-covered cake.

“Happy 7th birthday to my little unicorn!! #love #family,” she wrote.

Rosie never falls short of giving her daughter what she wants. For Christmas, the former cohost on The View gifted her little one the toy of her dreams even though her new Miko 2 robot didn’t work the way she planned.

“Santa brought the Miko 2 — she cant understand why it doesn’t work like the commercial,” Rosie explained via Instagram next to a snap of her daughter playing with the toy. “She thought she would have a pal to follow her around the house and chat with … tried to brace her for this brutal truth — but to no avail — she’s heartbroken ?.”

Besides Dakota, Rosie is also a proud mom to kids Parker, 24, Chelsea, 22, Blake 20, and Vivienne, 17. In December 2018, she became a grandmother for the first time when Chelsea welcomed her beautiful baby girl, Skylar Rose. Unfortunately, the TV personality missed her granddaughter’s birth by just an hour!

“It was really trippy, I have to say,” Rosie said about the experience on the Today show. “She called me from Wisconsin — Chels, my daughter, lives there with her partner Jake — and she called and said, ‘I’m in labor,’ and I got on a plane and I missed the birth by, like, an hour. But she’s happy.”

Since becoming a grandma, Rosie can’t get enough of Skylar. During a previous interview with Closer Weekly, she revealed her favorite part about her new role in the family. “Oh wow, just to see that little girl with my little girl’s face is pretty overwhelming,” she gushed before sweetly adding, it “throws me back 22 years.”

Taking to Twitter, Rosie later added, “I had a nana who lived with us my whole life … I see myself in her a lot — I feel like a nana and I love it.”
