“To have fun with everything. People take life way too seriously and, if you do that, you ruin the fun of it,” the 21-year-old beauty recently told Closer Weekly and other reporters while rehearsing for DWTS. “You’ve ruined the beauty of life. So I really just try and laugh through everything that I do, which didn’t come in my favor this week.”

Sailor, who is competing alongside professional dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy in season 28, explained that her mom always taught her to see the humor in things. “You know, make it a joke, make it fun,” she said. “Life is a joke and we can all get through and if we just start laughing.”
The blonde beauty seems to really take her mom’s advice to heart considering Sailor dished that she laughed off Wendy Williams‘ speculation that Christie’s fall was “fake as hell.” In fact, Sailor told reporters she was even impressed by how stoically her mom defended herself.
“I was super proud of her especially cause she really stood her ground,” the up-and-comer noted. “She spoke the truth and Wendy has really supported her through a lot of crazy stuff and for her to come out and say something negative about this situation really was shocking.”

Despite rumors surrounding her position on DWTS, Sailor gushed how proud she is for taking on the role for her mom at the last minute. “Something I literally never thought I could ever do in my entire life, and now I’m doing it,” she said while beaming with pride. “So that’s pretty exceptional.”
Sailor said she is basking in her experience on DWTS and hopes that, over time, she can teach herself that she can accomplish anything. “I hope to take away from it that lesson to myself to know anything that I’m scared of ever will never hold me back,” she said. “Ever. Screw that.”
