Teddy Swims Expecting 1st Child With Girlfriend Raiche Wright: ‘Can’t Wait to Meet’ Baby No. 1

A baby is on the way for Teddy Swims and his girlfriend, Raiche Wright! The “Lose Control” singer announced the news in a joint Instagram post with his partner on Thursday, January 8.

“We can’t wait to meet you baby,” the caption of the post said.

In the first photo, Teddy, 32, cradled Raiche’s baby bump as they sat together in a chair in the sand on a beach. In the second photo, Raiche, 29, stood in the ocean, showing off her growing bump while wearing a red and white gingham print bikini.

A third photo saw the songstress lying in her boyfriend’s lap, with both of his hands placed on her stomach while he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

The comment section was full of love for the pair as they await the arrival of their first child together.

“I knew it, there was a photo you were absolutely beaming in. Congratulations, that baby is about to have the best lullaby album (live),” one person commented on the post, while another said, “As soon as I saw the pictures from the CMAs I knew, congratulations to you both. Wonderful news, teddy’s always wanted a family. Your gonna be great parents.”

“This is amazing congratulations you two!!!” another fan wrote, as another said, “The only person that could come close to being as talented as you are would be that little one 🙂 so happy for u both much love brother.”

Teddy and Raiche attended the 2024 CMAs together in November 2024. While she was seen putting her hand on her stomach in photos on the red carpet, the pair had not confirmed the pregnancy until now.

Prior to the announcement, he shared a post on Instagram to celebrate Raiche’s 29th birthday.

“My sweet girl @mynameisraiche you are truly the divine feminine! You are the most perceptive and caring person I’ve ever met. You’re so beautiful inside and out,” Teddy wrote. “So nurturing yet so tough. You coddle me and challenge me. I’m looking forward to loving you forever and ever and I’m so thankful and lucky to call you mine. I love you. happy birthday angel! 29 is going to bring you everything you desire, need, and so much more! I’m so happy to be by your side and support you through it all.”

The year 2024 was huge for Teddy, who earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. He shared a video of himself finding out about his nomination on Instagram in November 2024, as well as a clip of him sharing the news with his dad.

“Daddy I love you. You’re the first person I’ll always call! I cant stop crying! Thank you for letting your boy pursue this dream!” he wrote alongside the post. “To be gettin this news with my best pals in the world theres no better feeling! I love you guys so much! Theres no better team and no better label on the planet! This is the biggest honor in music! And to be nominated this year as best new artist amongst what I think is the best freshman class in history is an absolute privilege!”
