‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Producer Previews a ‘Secret Story’ That Will Change Lives Forever

It’s that time of year again when cast members from The Bold and the Beautiful make the rounds at the Monte Carlo Television Festival and the show makes a location shoot out of the occasion. The festival itself came to a close on June 16, with the location shoot set for the following days. What kind of epic romantic tale does B&B have in store this year?

Bradley Bell Reveals Some Secrets

When a reporter from FilmFestivals.com caught up with showrunner Bradley Bell, he offered some revealing information about what’s to come.

“Well, it’s a secret story,” Bell explained. “But I can tell you that it involves Steffy, Sheila, all these actors here, Ridge, Brooke, and Finn, and there’s something that changes their lives forever that happens. I can’t reveal it, but it’s going to be good.”

Bell said that the show planned to film at a beach location and a church location, while promising that angst may not be involved this time around, saying, “It’s happy, and then something amazing happens.”

The last time the soap filmed in Monte Carlo was 2024, when Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) sourced on Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) before returning to Los Angeles. In 2022, the show delivered a sweeping romantic story outside a church when Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was reunited with her husband, Finn, whom she thought had died.

This time around, it looks like Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is going to come into play. The character has not been seen since April, when she moved out of Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) apartment after learning he had cheated on her with Taylor. She vowed that Taylor wouldn’t win, but Deacon and Taylor don’t know that. However, Taylor and Deacon are not in Monte Carlo, but Sheila is. Does her presence have something to do with Steffy and Finn? After all, she is Finn’s mother, whether he likes it or not.
